Not your typical school photos

Bid farewell to forced smiles and cheesy backgrounds.

Parents love these modern portraits that reflect their children’s real personalities.

“My 4-year-old daughter is notoriously camera shy, but Brett's thoughtful and kind approach really helped bring her out of her shell! The photos truly capture her spirit — thank you, Brett!”

Real expressions

I never tell a child to smile or "say cheese." I take the time to engage with every child so I can capture a variety of genuine expressions. Every smile is 100% real.

Real personalities

I meet children where they're at, and I work with their energy — not against it. My portraits are a true reflection of each child's unique personality.

Real simple

I photograph children with soft, flattering light against a simple black or white backdrop. The look is modern and elegant, and suits any decor. Parents will want to display these on the wall!

“My son hates getting his picture taken, but Brett got him smiling and laughing and the results are fantastic. Brett created a fun and stress-free atmosphere, and my son felt safe enough to relax and be himself in front of a camera. Total magic! The images themselves are simply gorgeous.”

What to Expect

1) Book

Booking a child portrait session with me is super easy. When you visit my booking page, you’ll see my availability. You can choose the time slot that works for you, pay a deposit, sign the contract, and fill out your questionnaire — all in one shot. Easy peasy!

2) Prep

Once you book, I’ll send you my prep guide, with info on what to expect and how to prepare for your shoot. I also offer a consultation call, which gives you the chance to ask questions, discuss ideas, and tell me more about yourself. That way I can tailor the session to you.

3) Shoot

My sessions are fun and relaxed. Don't worry about how to pose or what to do — I’ll give you lots of direction. I like to come prepared with a shot list, but that's just a starting point — I leave plenty of room for spontaneity so I can capture genuine moments and expressions.

4) Swoon

About two weeks after your session, I’ll send you a link to your gallery of images. You will also have the option of ordering print products directly from your gallery. I strongly believe in printing photos so you have something tangible to cherish.
